WHY TRUMP WON!

Over the next month, I am going to begin a series of posts regarding my recent life changing trip to Southern and Eastern Europe. Visiting the country that my ancestors originated from before emigrating to the United States during World War I was an eye-opening and, in my case, introspective experience. Three days in Hrvatska (Croatia) was just not enough. And the incredible experience of seeing the Dolomites in Italy, cruising around on an ATV on a Greek island, and experiencing the tiny free republic of San Marino (Libertas) will not be forgotten. But after returning to the United States the day before another presidential election with Trump easily beating Kamala Harris to become the 47th President of the United States (Two non-consecutive terms was only accomplished by one other man, Grover Cleveland, in the late 1800s), I have a few thoughts on these results and what it means in the short term. Again, this is an opinion piece so feel free to disagree with some of my conclusions.

1) The Weakness of the Democratic Party, Its Political Platform, and Their Gross Incompetence of Handling the Economy

Let’s get this out of the way. Trump is not a strong candidate. His first term can best be described as chaotic. Trump’s best asset was staying out of the way on many political issues. His term could have been generationally defining if he had followed through on peace with North Korea instead of letting his handlers sabotage and destroy the negotiations. But once COVID-19 occurred, Trump helped pass an unnecessary Coronavirus Relief and Government Funding Bill while also pushing Operation Warp Speed which led to the creation of vaccines with mRNA technology that may have created a quiet genocide which our corporate media owned by the pharmaceutical companies has chosen to ignore. Our current inflation problem can be blamed on some of Trump’s overspending during his presidency. Despite all of this, the American people preferred this option to a party that:

Pushed inflation higher with government pressure on unions to ask for more wages, supporting minimum wage hikes all over the country and most offensively, supporting COVID-19 lockdowns which destroyed the supply chain and led to intermittent shortages and price increases as all the free money started matriculating through the economy. These lockdowns and vaccine mandates also violated basic human rights.
Supported the destruction of natural and civil rights through constantly promoting the cancerous trio of ideas known as malinformation, disinformation, and misinformation. This support was nothing more than to force a censorship industrial complex onto the American people.
Accepted the endorsement of one of the worst warmongering families in the United States, the Cheneys, that liberal Hollywood made a derogatory film about.
Changed our meritocracy to a race-based quota system.
Turned our media into propaganda organs for large businesses and the state.
Biden who is obviously suffering from major health issues ran an administration that could not release a government document without fabricating evidence in it. His administration maybe one of the most incompetent alongside Bush Jr. s in American history.
This is what the Democrats gave us for four years. Mix in the Obamas and the Clintons lecturing minorities about how they are supposed to vote, and they ran on this platform expecting success. I haven’t even dived into the Democrats getting global support from some of the worst industrialists and billionaires on the planet who want to use the party to force their political changes onto the populace. If Trump wasn’t such a weak candidate, any other sane Republican would have beat Harris by ten points easily.

2) Recognizing a Political Re-Organization That is Occurring Amongst the American Populace

The ideas that the Democratic and Republican Party have campaigned on and endorsed has been undergoing a rapid change. Parties usually switch or change platforms three or four times a century. The last time this happened would have been the late 60s/70s. Even though there have been only a few politicians who have switched parties over the past decade (Kirsten Sinema and Tulsi Gabbard being the most famous), the American people have begun this re-organization. The neo-cons currently run the Republican Party. By 2030, the Trump created MAGA movement will likely reign supreme. Famous liberal journalists (Matt Taibbi, Glenn Greenwald, Lee Fang, Michael Shellenburger, Naomi Wolf, etc.) have fled the Democratic Party. Leftist entrepreneurs like Elon Musk and Steve Kirsch have rebelled against the Democrats and even the most famous Democratic family of the 20th Century, the Kennedys, have a member who has moved onto the Trump team. Most Americans have not perceived these changes yet. This will continue (The Democrats embracing the warmongers who got us into Iraq is another sign of this reorganization).

Feel free to add your own comments regarding this list. No matter how you feel about Donald Trump, he is the flawed face of a movement that wants to dial back the American Empire a little bit and re-enable American dominance economically around the globe. Can this be accomplished? Well, the next four years will determine if we are on the right track or if a new global order without the United States is going to be implemented as an alternative. Grab your popcorn bucket and enjoy the ride!
